Scrappy Chics Kits: July Kit Projects!

Okay, okay. So things have been a bit hectic. These are really dark photos and not the way I want to show these, but tonight will have to do. It's been a long, exciting week. So much I want to shout out, but I need a raincheck. In short, here are the projects I made with the Scrappy Chics kits, and how I loved it!! First time working with Echo Park paper, ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE PAPERS!!! Below are the Sassy Lil' Sketches that I drew my inspiration from. (BTW, I was the lucky winner for May's card sketches....SWEET!)

That black rose is Maya Road black satin pleated trim that I made into a flower. I added the scallop lace and hot glued that into a flower as well.

some faux threadless stitching here and my first try at paper piecing....
kinda cute?

and these two, again from Sassy Lil' Card Sketches:

a dressed up little Maya Road Cameo chipboard (May kit) with Paper Glaze, and hand-stitching

A-dorable little flag banners and scallop border exclusive in the kit, the zig zag is the MME die cut, and the raffle ticket was cut from the Newsworthy paper. (My favorite card...I think, not sure)

More exciting news! Color Combos Galore has a new Design Team!
I need a separate blog post about that!

I need to update a few posts, I feel very rushed.
But i need to get some sleep.
